macbook professional – Mac would not suppose mouse is a mouse so I can not change the sensitivity

I’ve a MacBook air m1 and [this mouse][1] and I do not suppose my mac recognises the Bluetooth mouse as being a mouse. I bear in mind once I first linked it the keyboard setup assistant got here up.

If I’m going to system preferences after which to mouse after which to arrange Bluetooth mouse then the mouse by no means comes up. Nonetheless I can join the mouse by simply going to Bluetooth.

The issue is that the mouse may be very delicate and the monitoring pace management within the mouse part of system preferences does nothing to this mouse. But when I play a online game that has its personal sensitivity setting within the recreation then that does work.

Curiously, the first mouse button setting in system preferences does work.

Can somebody assist me change my mouse sensitivity? Maybe join it correctly as a mouse? Thanks a lot in your assist.

EDIT:

I’ll add that I had an previous mouse with this similar laptop that did work successfully. However I haven’t got that anymore.
